How to Replace the BSM?
The BSM R05-00 9663100480 unit is located in a plastic housing in the engine compartment next to the battery. Before detaching the BSM unit, disconnect the positive terminal from the battery. Next, loosen the 13 mm nut. Disconnect all connectors except one, which will be used to pull the unit towards you. There are small clips on both sides of the unit that must be disengaged using a flat screwdriver while simultaneously pulling the last cable towards you. Additionally, two clips holding the large fuses must be released from the bottom of the unit. Installation is completed by reversing the procedure.
